how to make

  • Add the thinly sliced red onion to a small bowl and stir in the olive oil and lime zest and juice.
  • Leave for ten minutes, or until the onions have mellowed in flavour and turned a beautiful bright pink.
  • To assemble your open-faced sandwiches, generously spread a helping of Nurishh Garlic and Herbs spread onto each slice of bread.
  • Top with a few slices of cucumber and green pepper, some of the quick pickled red onion, and a generous sprinkling of toasted pumpkin seeds.
